Students Who Uphold National Interests Are the Need of the Hour: IAS Officer Dr. Sagar Doifode
Republic Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Chate Public School, Sahakar Nagar, Pune
Pune: “Freedom is a responsibility, and the need of the hour is to nurture students who carry this responsibility with honesty and uphold the interests of the nation,” said Dr. Sagar Doifode, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer serving in Srinagar, while addressing students at the Republic Day celebration held at Chate Public School, Sahakar Nagar, Pune.
The Republic Day celebration was organised with great enthusiasm by the Chate Education Group at Chate Public School. Dr. Sagar Doifode, an alumnus of Chate School, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Ashish Sable, Ratnakar Sonawane, retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Singh Gaikwad, Shivaji Maharaj speaker Rahul Nalawade, Founder Prof. Fulchand Chate, Principal Navneet Rajpal, Ranjit Jagtap, and Jadhav Sir.
The programme began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the distinguished guests by the school management. The celebration reflected the true spirit of patriotism and national pride.
As part of the programme, students took a pledge to lead a healthy and addiction-free life. Students also presented patriotic speeches, dance performances, and various cultural programmes, showcasing their talent, confidence, creativity, and love for the nation. Their enthusiastic performances won the appreciation of everyone present.
In his introductory address, Prof. Fulchand Chate, Founder of the Chate Education Group, highlighted the institution’s continuous progress and its commitment to holistic education. He emphasised that the group is consistently working towards nurturing students who can become responsible citizens, future leaders of the nation, and capable individuals who can excel in diverse fields.
Addressing the students, Dr. Sagar Doifode shared valuable insights and motivated them to remain focused on their goals. He offered students an important life lesson and encouraged them to work with dedication, integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility to achieve their aspirations.
The celebration concluded on a positive and inspiring note, leaving students with a renewed sense of patriotism, responsibility, and determination to contribute meaningfully to the nation.
