Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Spirit at Chate Public School, Dhankawadi, Pune
Pune: “Freedom is a responsibility. Nurturing students who carry this responsibility with honesty and uphold the interests of the nation is the need of the hour,” said Dr. Sagar Doifode, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer serving in Srinagar, while addressing students at the Independence Day celebration organised at Chate Public School, Dhankawadi, Pune.
The Independence Day celebration was held with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Dr. Sagar Doifode, an alumnus of Chate Public School, was among the distinguished guests present on the occasion. The programme was also attended by Ashish Sable, Ratnakar Sonawane, retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Singh Gaikwad, Shivaji Maharaj speaker Rahul Nalawade, Founder Prof. Fulchand Chate, Principal Navneet Rajpal, and Prof. Ranjit Jagtap.
The celebration reflected the values of patriotism, responsibility, discipline, and service to the nation. As part of the programme, students took a pledge to lead an addiction-free and healthy life, reinforcing the importance of making responsible choices and maintaining a positive lifestyle.
Students presented inspiring patriotic speeches, dance performances, and a variety of cultural presentations, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and love for the country. Their enthusiastic performances were widely appreciated by the guests, teachers, parents, and the entire school community.
In his introductory address, Prof. Fulchand Chate, Founder of the Chate Education Group, spoke about the institution’s continuous growth and its commitment to providing holistic education. He highlighted the group’s efforts to nurture students into responsible citizens, future leaders, and capable individuals who can demonstrate their potential across diverse fields.
Addressing the students, Dr. Sagar Doifode shared valuable insights from his own journey and encouraged students to remain committed to their goals. He emphasised the importance of honesty, hard work, discipline, responsibility, and dedication in achieving success and contributing meaningfully to society and the nation.
