CBSE Files Complaint Against Two Delhi Schools Over Fake Land Certificates

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has lodged police complaints against Manava Bhawna Public School, Burari, and Sat Saheb Public School, Uttam Nagar, for submitting fraudulent land certificates during their affiliation process.

CBSE discovered the forgery after verifying the submitted certificates with the issuing authorities, which confirmed that the documents were not genuine. Acting swiftly, CBSE filed complaints at Preet Vihar Police Station to address the issue.

In its official statement, CBSE emphasized its rigorous scrutiny process:

  • Affiliation is granted based on compliance with the Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018.
  • All documents submitted by schools undergo strict verification to ensure authenticity.
  • Previous Incidents:

  • In March, CBSE filed an FIR against a Prayagraj school for submitting a fake 'No Objection Certificate' for affiliation.
  • Recently, CBSE issued show-cause notices to 34 schools for participating in unauthorized sports events organized by an unrecognized body, CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSE-WSO).
  • The board reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency and urged schools to comply with its guidelines to uphold the integrity of the education system.
